About HFS Band Brian Ford - Lead Vocals, Guitar Brian Ford is a dynamic front man & rhythm guitarist. He co-founded The Loft which ripped up and down the east coast in the early to late 90's and packed the famous Hammerjacks nightclub weekly, headlining and opening for national acts. He was a chief songwriter in The Loft & Crushing Day and his original material still gets requested today. Brian is having a blast bringing it back with these fine musicians!!! Dave DeMarco - Bass Guitar, Vocals Dave DeMarco plays bass with Crack the Sky, Petty Coat Junction & The Dave DeMarco Band and his fragile male ego dictated that he add a fourth band. Dave was offered a position in HFS based solely on his fetish for authentic 1990s flannel. When he’s not gigging, he can be found in his home studio playing bass on your sister's cousin’s boyfriend’s prog-bluegrass band's CD and giving bass lessons to newbs and advanced players alike. Marco Riva - Lead Guitar, Vocals Marco Riva is the lead guitarist formerly of Y-Not?!, originally from Ocean City, MD and founding member of The Trend. He has played in numerous bands you've never heard of and has jammed with the likes of Dave Grohl, Jason Bonham and once turned down a chance to play with Danzig. Vince Barill - Drums Vince Barill is a founding member of Cloudbreak which achieved something few local bands can do - playing original music to sold-out clubs! He has a long history with both Dave & Brian, having played with them in various combinations in the Wes McDonough Band, Oh Yeah Sure & Cloudbreak. His nuanced approach to the kit brings a fresh musicality which keeps all the guys on their toes! Vince is one of those players who makes it all look so easy. HFS is comprised of 4 strong & well-established players. They came out of the gate with a splash earlier this year with a playlist stacked with alternative rock and new wave hits that have been in your head since the fall of the Berlin Wall. When you come to an HFS show, you can expect an energetic, magnetic experience where you'll hear such bands as Tool, 311, U2, Radiohead, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Echo & the Bunnymen, Foo Fighters, My Chemical Romance, SpaceHog, Incubus, Alice In Chains, Queens of a Stone Age, Billy Idol, Live, The Cult, STP, Living Colour, Muse, Pearl Jam, The Killers and many more!!!...all performed with the passion and fire of the original artists.
